Perfect Pickleball Paddles

The only handcrafted paddles made in the USA

I'm giving away all of my new carbon fiber composite core paddles for the holiday season until January 1st at a fraction of price and would appreciate any feedback, good or bad.

My name is Val Drachev and I'm a silver medalist of the 2021 US Open, singles. I have learned everything about paddles, in and out, from my experience of making and fixing paddles, and playing pickleball almost every day.

All DBall pickleball paddles are handcrafted by me personally in my workshop. You can choose your paddle from already pre-built ones or build to order your unique paddle, based on your specs, which may include a paddle shape, weight, paddle face(s) color, handle size and profile, over grip tape color. Moreover, you can send me a sketch of your own paddle design and we can discuss how to build it.

I use a polypropylene honeycomb core from  the Plascore company of Zeeland, MI with the glass/epoxy or carbon fiber skins factory built.

A variety of paint is used to finish the paddle faces. The true octagonal tennis style handles are made of balsa/bass wood from National Balsa Wood Co of Ware, MA and are wrapped with a tacky, thin over grip tape. The edgeless paddles are protected with a thin plastic rim from the Cowles company of North Haven, CT. The standard edge guard if used is overlapping 1/8" the paddle face and comes from Spain in different colors.

Once completed, each paddle is personally tested. If it does not meet my standards, I rebuild it again to ensure the quality and performance achieve the highest level.

The paddles are perfect for new & seasoned players at an affordable price, and have the best all-around feel, balance, and performance; from touch drop shots to hard drives and lobs. The major difference between DBall Paddles and others on the market is the ball stays longer on the paddle, enabling more time to control and spin.

DBall Paddles are tested by 5.0 pro players. David Duncan, John Sperling, John Cincola, Hunter Johnson and Byron Freso are among some of the high level pro pickleball players who have tested and affirmed the paddle's level of quality and playability.

Over 1000 pickleball paddles have been shipped to 48 states and overseas including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Canada, New Zealand, France and the UK.

Warranty: DBall Poly paddles are covered by a limited warranty for defective material and workmanship for 6 months from the date of purchase. Any items may be return within 30 days in a new condition.

What is not covered: Damage caused by abuse, user modification and the natural breakdown from extended use are not covered. Hitting the ground with the paddle or a hard object, such as another paddle, may cause damage to the core, resulting in a compromised performance of the paddle, which are not covered under the warranty.

Please note: Due to the edge-less design, the paddles will develop scratches on the edge during play. This is normal wear and is not considered a defect in the product.

The DBall paddles are not USAPA approved for sanctioned tournaments play, but they meet all USAPA requirements.

It will take 1 or 2 days to build a paddle.  Use a "Special Requests: " window to write your specific requests.
At checkout time you can choose to pay with Credit or Debit Card (select PayPal as a method of payment), check or cash (in store). No need to have or open your PayPal account.

I keep records of all paddles shipped. To find your paddle, go to the "Order Status" menu and locate it by state, paddle shape type, or your name. You will see all photos of your paddle, specs, date of shipping, return policy and warranty.

Awesome. How is your brand not the Official #1 Pickeball Paddles is beyond me and many like me that come from hard-core tennis (ex-pros, league, etc.) Your paddles are beyond just mere ''sticks'' to play with; they are ART. They incapsulate everything a perfect paddle should have; optimized form (aero head, long handle, etc.) besides top quality build. I - and we, a bunch of former tennis pros (80s, 90s..) - tested your paddles in compare to the best ergonomic and most balanced established brands like Babolat, Prince, Head and Wilson. It doesn't come even close; the quality of your paddles and the body-to-handle ratio is by far the best in the sport. The only similarity is the hitting area form factor with Prince paddles and some Babolat. Can't wait for your paddle(s) to become the Official #1. Keep up the good work.
Thanks again,

We tested the PQ paddle from your collection - 6mm -, and right way we were blown by the sheer versatility. Practically it playes (played as it is now semi-broken) like a tennis racquet; pops, slices, top-spins, cross-hitting, court coverage at speed, net domination, etc. Master ART. Yours. Thank you so much. Chat soon.
Thanks again,

Just wanted to tell you how much I enjoy playing with your paddle. I got a carbon infinite paddle. I play at a 4.5 to 5.0 level and have had great results. I have also shared my paddle with others which has persuaded them to also purchase your paddle. Keep up the good work.

I was able to try the Teal model a bit on Wed. and  more in depth today.  VERY impressive- so, I immediately ordered the black/ grey model today.  I started playing in Feb at a senior center and due to my tennis background, I have tried about 30+ paddles and I am amazed at how much I am enjoying your paddle.  It is as good as anything I have tried and may be the best- time will tell... Congratulations on creating a very special and affordable paddle.
Thanks,

I Will definitely provide analysis info.  Since, I am still comparing many paddles I do not know if I will have enough hours on the paddle to analyze durability but will provide as much info as possible.  I have tried a huge # of paddles and I am always amazed at how well your paddles compare with even the $200+ paddles.  They just feel terrific for me and I often get compliments on how well I play with them and people ask which big name high end product  (Selkirk, Engage, Gearbox etc.) I am using at the time.  I want to compare this model with the Diadem Warrior 19mm.  Truly amazing what you achieve from "home".

I’ve been meaning to tell you how much I love the paddle! I’ve been using it for over a week now, and I absolutely love the weight and feel of the paddle. It feels like it was made just for me, the right weight the right action. I hope to be doing business with you again in the future.

Val,  Received my new paddle yesterday and played with it this morning.  It was fantastic, I’m thinking the best paddle I’ve ever played with.  Plenty of power, good control and spin.  Winner Winner Winner

You're Pickleball Paddles are truly works of art.... (I've bought others) I think you could teach the big companies a thing or two about quality.
Thanks

Val, I finally got a chance to play with this paddle today. But first I want to say that from my perspective the quality and workmanship of the paddle that I received is second to none. After playing with it for about three hours today It has taken over the spot as my primary paddle edging out a name brand paddle that sells for almost three times as much.

Val is more than a gifted player - he also knows a thing or two about paddle design. As a tournament racquetball player for the past 40 years, I know the importance of playing with the right gear. I'm using his DD shape poly core paddle (8.35 oz) which offers great balance, fantastic control and that extra juice I want for more winning shots. I'm 100% sure you won't find better value in a pickleball paddle. Give it a try if you want to take your game to the next level.
